Worked on the geonetwork/core-geonetwork repository to enhance contributor onboarding and project transparency by implementing automated Contributor License Agreement (CLA) handling and improving README badge layout. Introduced a feature that initiates CLA signing on a contributor’s first pull request and made the CLA policy clearly visible in project documentation, streamlining the onboarding process and clarifying governance. Consolidated build and security badges at the top of the README to improve readability and provide clear project health indicators. Focused on documentation and contribution guidelines using Markdown, with all changes aimed at reducing friction for external contributors and improving project maintainability. No bugs addressed.
