Worked on release engineering and CI/CD improvements for the NREL/OpenStudio and NREL/openstudio-standards repositories, focusing on build reliability and cross-platform compatibility. Enhanced the release process by progressing multiple release candidates, introducing stable gem references, and implementing per-platform MD5 checksums to ensure correct gem usage. Developed a new GitHub Actions workflow for incremental builds on Ubuntu 22.04, improving clarity in volume mount configurations. Addressed data handling in openstudio-standards by refining file existence checks and standardizing CSV encoding to UTF-8 without BOM. Utilized CMake, Docker, and Ruby to manage build systems, automate workflows, and ensure robust data processing across platforms.
