February 2025 focused on strengthening secure, scalable delivery for FMS-enabled frontends and aligning CI/CD with upcoming March deadlines. Across five repositories, we delivered CloudFront migrations, environment-aware security controls, and packaging improvements that improve security posture, reduce risk of misconfiguration in development, and accelerate release readiness. In parallel, we modernized the CI/CD toolchain to ensure code quality signals keep pace with policy migrations and deadlines.

Month: 2024-12 — Focused on delivering CI/CD Deployment Pipeline Enhancements for govuk-one-login/ipv-cri-uk-passport-api, improving deployment reliability and speed through early provisioning of test environments and artifact standardization. Implemented 'test images first' in the deployment flow and cleaned up legacy testing branch to reduce noise. No major bugs fixed this month; the changes primarily reduce risk and speed up deployments, enabling faster iteration and more deterministic environments. Technologies demonstrated include AWS ECR, CI/CD automation, environment provisioning, and artifact management.

October 2024: Enhanced deployment reliability for govuk-one-login/ipv-cri-uk-passport-api by switching the deployment template to use Lambda function aliases instead of direct ARNs. This change reduces routing risk, simplifies rollbacks, and aligns with IaC best practices. Implemented through a targeted template.yaml update and a single commit (IPS-1104: 'update functions to reference the alias').
