During July 2025, Timber focused on stabilizing CI/CD deployment workflows for the mint-o-badges/badgr-ui and mint-o-badges/badgr-server repositories. By removing the create-release and publish-release steps from the registry-build-publish GitHub Actions workflows, Timber addressed issues with incorrect production labeling and duplicate releases during branch-based deployments. This adjustment, implemented using YAML and leveraging expertise in CI/CD and GitHub Actions, improved deployment reliability and reduced operational errors. The changes aligned release handling across both repositories, enabling safer and more consistent production deployments. Timber’s work demonstrated a thoughtful approach to workflow automation and contributed to more dependable release processes.
