Worked on the voxel51/fiftyone repository during a stability sprint focused on improving build reliability. Addressed a critical issue in the Node.js build process by ensuring the NVM_DIR environment variable was properly exported, which resolved persistent CI build failures related to Node Version Manager. Utilized shell scripting to update install.sh, aligning environment variable propagation across different build environments. This bug fix reduced time-to-build and minimized flaky CI runs, strengthening the foundation for future feature development. The work demonstrated attention to deployment readiness and environment configuration, leveraging shell scripting and CI/CD practices to enhance the robustness of the build pipeline.
