In April 2026, Junming Shi enhanced the Azure/azure-rest-api-specs repository by delivering a new public API feature that introduced the Slis and SliSignalPreview resource types. Using TypeScript and TypeSpec, Junming migrated the API specifications to a v2 folder structure, consolidated related assets, and aligned the OpenAPI output with updated standards. The work included refining naming conventions, improving data models, and providing comprehensive examples to support SDK adoption. By tightening resource identifiers and standardizing parameter usage, Junming’s changes reduced onboarding time for SDK consumers and established a maintainable foundation for future Azure SDK expansions across the SLI and SignalPreview domains.
