During June 2025, T.J. Coleman enhanced the NREL/OpenStudio and NREL/openstudio-standards repositories by focusing on release engineering and build reliability. He progressed multiple release candidates, introducing stable gem references and per-platform MD5 checksums to ensure accurate dependency management. In the CI/CD pipeline, he implemented an incremental build workflow for Ubuntu 22.04 using GitHub Actions and Docker, improving cross-platform compatibility and workflow clarity. Coleman also addressed data handling in openstudio-standards by refining file existence checks and standardizing CSV encoding to UTF-8 without BOM. His work leveraged CMake, Ruby, and Shell scripting, demonstrating depth in build system management and data robustness.
