Developed an enhancement for the streetsidesoftware/cspell-dicts repository by extending the Bash dictionary to support environment variables and shopt options, enabling more flexible and automated dictionary management workflows. This feature, implemented using bash scripting and plaintext, allows for richer scripting capabilities and more consistent environment configurations across deployments. The technical approach focused on reducing scripting friction and improving automation readiness, with changes delivered through a feature commit that included CI-friendly co-authorship attribution. No bugs were addressed during this period, but the work established a foundation for future improvements in shell interaction and further Bash-related enhancements within the project.
