Pat developed a comprehensive observability dashboards feature for the Fastly CLI, focusing on automated dashboard management and improved application visibility. Working in the fastly/cli repository, Pat implemented full CRUD operations for dashboards and their items, integrating these capabilities directly into both the API client and CLI command layers. Using Go, Pat leveraged skills in API integration, CLI development, and dashboard management to deliver an end-to-end solution that enables developers to create, list, describe, update, and delete dashboards programmatically. This work enhanced observability workflows, allowing for faster access to dashboard data and supporting more efficient monitoring and troubleshooting processes.
