Worked on the openrewrite/rewrite-logging-frameworks repository to deliver a feature that standardized logging practices by introducing a SLF4J-based API. Developed a dedicated recipe in Java to automate the conversion of logging statements from JBoss Logging to SLF4J, supporting unified logging across the codebase. This approach established a reusable migration path for future logging framework changes, reducing boilerplate and promoting consistency. The work focused on improving observability and simplifying incident diagnosis, aligning with business goals for easier troubleshooting and lower maintenance costs. Emphasized software development best practices and leveraged expertise in Java and logging frameworks throughout the implementation.
