Contributed to the livekit/agents and livekit/agents-js repositories by delivering features focused on accessibility and maintainability for speech processing workflows. Developed a default text-to-speech voice accessible to free-tier users, improving onboarding and aligning with pricing models through backend development and audio processing using Python and TypeScript. Enhanced documentation for fallback adapters, clarifying automatic provider switching for both STT and TTS, which reduced misconfiguration and support overhead. Demonstrated a methodical approach with commit-based delivery, code review, and repository maintenance, emphasizing clear communication and cross-repository consistency. The work addressed both user experience and developer efficiency within LiveKit’s agent infrastructure.
