Developed and delivered the Mendeley Notebook Import feature for the ramsey/zotero repository, enabling users to import Mendeley notebook content, including text and annotations, directly into Zotero notes. This work involved designing an end-to-end import pipeline in JavaScript, integrating with Mendeley’s API, and implementing a new authentication flow to securely obtain access tokens from Mendeley Reference Manager. The solution incorporated robust error handling and progress tracking to ensure reliability during lengthy import operations. Leveraging skills in API integration, authentication, and data transformation, the developer focused on creating a seamless and secure data migration experience between the two platforms.
