During April 2026, Tobby enhanced the Ray Dashboard within the ray-project/ray repository by improving job observability and usability. He developed a new Name column in the Jobs table to display job_name metadata, enabling users to quickly identify and filter jobs. Leveraging React and TypeScript, Tobby implemented a search filter for job names and ensured robust UI behavior by providing a fallback display when job_name was missing. He also updated the observability documentation to guide users on job naming conventions. This work demonstrated a focused application of front end and full stack development skills to address a targeted user experience need.
