Worked on the gardener-extension-provider-aws repository to deliver a feature that propagates worker pool priority to MachineDeployment during resource generation. This involved backend development using Go, with updates to the MachineDeployment struct to include a priority field and comprehensive test enhancements to validate the new behavior across different generation paths. The approach ensured that priority information is consistently maintained from worker pools to deployments, supporting more effective scheduling in Kubernetes environments. All changes were aligned with repository standards and prepared for integration testing, reflecting a focus on maintainability and correctness in cloud infrastructure workflows. No major bugs were addressed during this period.
