Worked on the cipherstash/encrypt-query-language repository, focusing on backend development and database reliability using SQL. Addressed a critical issue in the ORE comparison logic by reverting a previous change that had altered the handling of NULL and empty array scenarios. Restored explicit return values for these cases, ensuring consistent ordering and query results across the system. This approach preserved existing semantics and prevented regressions in query behavior, particularly around NULL handling. The work emphasized stability and correctness, with careful change management to maintain codebase integrity. No new features were introduced during this period, concentrating efforts on robust bug resolution.
