Worked on the 86Box/86Box repository to deliver a complete German localization of the application, translating all 1,019 user-facing strings using the PO language format and the Weblate platform. Focused on software internationalization and translation, the work established a scalable workflow for ongoing localization updates and quality assurance. By integrating Weblate, the process improved translation traceability and enabled transparent auditing through linked translation URLs. This effort expanded accessibility for German-speaking users and enhanced the project’s readiness for future language support. No bugs were fixed during this period, with the primary contribution centered on feature development and localization infrastructure improvements.
