Worked on the wavetermdev/waveterm repository to deliver major user experience and reliability improvements for the Wave Terminal frontend. Focused on enhancing terminal input handling, the work enabled Shift+Enter for multi-line commands, integrated image paste support with clipboard handling and temporary file management, and improved IME input reliability by tracking composition and preventing duplicate input during complex keyboard interactions. Leveraging JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, the developer implemented robust edge-case handling for focus loss and Escape actions, updated documentation, and created end-to-end tests. These enhancements directly improved productivity and input fidelity for interactive CLI tools, supporting enterprise usability and AI-assisted workflows.
