During the month, contributed to the hoprnet/hoprnet repository by developing and implementing repository fork guards for GitHub Actions workflows. This feature ensures that workflows only execute for pull requests originating from within the same repository, thereby reducing the risk of running untrusted code from external forks. The solution was delivered using YAML to configure workflow conditions and leveraged core DevOps and CI/CD practices to enhance security. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the focus remained on strengthening the repository’s CI/CD pipeline and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities associated with automated workflow execution in a collaborative development environment.
