Leveraged JavaScript and full stack development skills to refactor column name handling, reusing the existing _getColumnIndex helper to streamline code maintenance and reduce duplication. This update increased the flexibility and reliability of spreadsheet-driven automation by allowing dynamic references to columns such as AA or ZZ, minimizing manual configuration and potential errors. The work contributed to higher automation adoption and demonstrated effective collaboration through co-authored commits and adherence to established code quality practices.
