Worked on Azure API Management specifications, focusing on enhancing observability and backend flexibility across two repositories. In test-repo-billy/azure-rest-api-specs, developed and documented new Event Grid event schemas for circuit breaker and gateway token expiry events, enabling structured telemetry and easier integration with monitoring tools. Used TypeScript and YAML to define standardized payloads, supporting event-driven architecture and cloud-native monitoring. Later, contributed to Azure/azure-rest-api-specs by making backend URL and protocol fields optional and providing detailed load balancer configuration examples. This improved deployment flexibility and reduced configuration friction for production-grade API Management backends, emphasizing backend configuration and load balancer integration skills.
