Worked on automating the release process for MetaMask/metamask-mobile by implementing an automated release candidate (RC) build trigger. This solution enabled mobile deployments to be initiated without requiring code changes, streamlining the release workflow and reducing manual intervention. The approach leveraged JavaScript and continuous integration techniques to validate the trigger through a series of targeted commits, ensuring reliability and stability in the deployment pipeline. By focusing on DevOps practices and CI/CD automation, the work improved release velocity and minimized the risk of human error, enhancing the overall efficiency and consistency of mobile production releases within the repository.
