Worked on structural improvements and toolchain modernization for the awsdocs/aws-doc-sdk-examples repository, focusing on maintainability and future development. The main feature involved removing QLDB from the Cargo workspace, which reduced cross-crate dependencies and simplified the project structure. Upgraded the Rust toolchain to version 1.88.0, enabling access to the latest language features and ensuring compatibility with updated dependencies. These changes streamline onboarding for new contributors and improve build stability. The work was carried out using Rust, Cargo, and version control best practices, laying a foundation for future enhancements while addressing technical debt and supporting long-term repository health.
