Worked on the BIBSYSDEV/nva-publication-api repository to enhance the publication update workflow by introducing support for HiddenFile types. Addressed a bug where HiddenFile was not being saved during publication updates, updating the UpdatePublicationHandler to process this file type consistently alongside others. Focused on improving file-type handling and ensuring that HiddenFile could be saved and managed reliably within the existing pipeline. Utilized Java for backend and API development, emphasizing traceability through issue tracking. The work contributed to greater reliability and extensibility in publication updates, laying a foundation for more robust file management in the repository’s backend infrastructure.
