Worked on the w3ctag/design-principles repository to deliver comprehensive updates to Governance and Consent Guidelines documentation. Focused on consolidating policy sections to reflect the new W3C Code of Conduct URL, strengthening the “Leave the web better” principle by explicitly addressing degradation of capabilities, and clarifying guidance on meaningful user consent with references to consent mechanisms and permission algorithms. Utilized HTML and Markdown to ensure documentation clarity and consistency, aligning API guidance for Permissions and Powerful APIs with revised policies. This work enhanced compliance guidance for developers and product teams, improved platform quality expectations, and reduced long-term governance risk through clear technical writing.
