Worked on the librenms/librenms repository to deliver HPE rebrand support for Instant On device discovery, focusing on accurate identification of HPE Networking devices as branding evolved. Updated the device discovery process by refining regular expressions in YAML configuration files to recognize both HPE Networking and Aruba devices. Introduced a dedicated SNMPREC file for the HPE Instant On 1960 switch, enabling reliable onboarding and reducing the need for manual mapping as device brands change. Leveraged skills in device discovery, network device configuration, and regular expressions to improve discovery accuracy and streamline the integration of newly branded HPE devices into monitoring workflows.
