Worked on the simonsobs/socs repository to deliver a targeted feature upgrade by updating the sodetlib library to version 0.5.6 within the project’s Docker image. This change ensured that the pysmurf-controller could leverage the latest features and fixes from sodetlib, improving compatibility and reducing future maintenance risks. The update was implemented using Dockerfile and Python, with a focus on containerization and DevOps best practices. All changes were linked to a specific commit and pull request for traceability, and the project was prepared for release readiness with updated documentation and a streamlined build process to support ongoing development needs.
