During December 2025, Trajche Kralev enhanced the WordPress/secure-custom-fields repository by implementing compatibility for WooCommerce HPOS and custom fields across additional non-subscription order types. This work improved data integrity and streamlined workflows for merchants by reducing manual intervention and mitigating data misalignment. Trajche approached the project using PHP, focusing on robust WooCommerce integration and comprehensive unit testing with PHPUnit. He expanded test coverage for WooCommerce form handling, fixed existing unit tests, and applied PHPCS formatting to align with WordPress coding standards. The result was a more maintainable codebase and strengthened integration reliability, laying groundwork for future extensibility and CI stability.
