Worked on the elastic/detection-rules-dac-demo repository to improve documentation organization by attempting a structural refactor of the project’s Markdown files. The approach involved moving documentation from the main docs directory to a new docs-dev location, aiming to separate development-related content from user-facing materials. After evaluating the impact, the change was reverted to maintain stability for end users, and the decision-making process was thoroughly documented for future reference. This work demonstrated skills in code organization, documentation management, and git-based change management, ensuring that the project’s documentation architecture could evolve without disrupting existing workflows or introducing unintended user-facing changes.
