During January 2025, Treata Ali enhanced the build infrastructure for the Esri/harfbuzz and facebook/zstd repositories by enabling native Apple framework support on macOS and iOS. Treata updated CMake build systems to conditionally generate Apple frameworks, set appropriate framework properties, and standardized integration patterns across both projects. By lowering the minimum CMake version for zstd and refining repository hygiene through improved .gitignore management, Treata increased compatibility and maintainability. The work, primarily in C++ and CMake, focused on reducing build friction, improving developer onboarding, and supporting broader Apple-platform distribution, reflecting a strong understanding of cross-platform build systems and repository management.
