During December 2025, Trenta1982 enhanced authentication error messaging for the glpi-project/glpi repository by implementing the WWW-Authenticate header in responses to basic authentication errors. This backend feature, developed in PHP with a focus on API development, aimed to provide clearer guidance to users encountering authentication failures and to align error handling with HTTP standards. The work was delivered as a single, traceable commit, facilitating straightforward auditing and potential rollback.
