Worked on enhancing the alloptions CLI within the Automattic/vip-go-mu-plugins repository, focusing on improving size reporting for serialized alloptions data. The update replaced the less informative total size output with a gzdeflated size metric, providing more relevant compressed size information for debugging and performance analysis. Additionally, the compressed size description was clarified to improve usability, and autoload management was standardized by renaming the disable command to set-autoload for clearer user experience. This work utilized PHP and CLI development skills within the context of WordPress, delivering targeted improvements that streamline diagnostics and configuration for developers working with large option sets.
