Over a two-month period, contributed to security hardening and configuration management in embedded systems by developing secure blocklist flag storage features for the rdkcentral/iarmmgrs and rdkcentral/meta-rdk-video repositories. Focused on implementing vendor-layer support for securely storing and retrieving blocklist flag values in bootloader flash, using C and Python for system and firmware programming. The work improved bootloader security, enhanced vendor compliance, and reduced risks of tampering or misconfiguration. Changes were aligned with release processes, included comprehensive commit documentation, and supported traceability for future audits, demonstrating a methodical approach to embedded security and configuration management in complex system environments.
