Worked on security vulnerability remediation in the cloudability/metrics-agent repository, focusing on upgrading the oauth2 dependency to version 0.27.0 to address a known CVE. The approach involved updating all related references across Go source files and YAML-based Helm charts, ensuring that builds remained reproducible and aligned with security standards. Verified that the updated dependency did not introduce regressions in authentication or metrics collection, maintaining operational integrity. This work improved the project’s security posture and supported compliance in deployment pipelines. Demonstrated skills in dependency management, security patching, and Helm chart maintenance, utilizing Go and YAML to deliver a robust solution.
