This change ensures examples reflect the most recent stable build, reducing deployment and testing friction for users and improving the reliability of hands-on demonstrations. The update is tracked under commit ac5ae67c427cf65a6fbf378fdf969e963900129e (#1872).

April 2025: Focused on enhancing documentation quality and clarity for the Routes Portal Route Filtering feature in pomerium/documentation. The work improves developer onboarding, QA scoping, and product clarity by defining the exact Policy PPL subset applicable to route filtering, enumerating supported criteria and rule structures, and linking to related work items for traceability. The documentation update supports faster integration and reduces interpretation errors in the Routes Portal.

March 2025: Security hardening and documentation improvements for pomerium/documentation. Delivered the elimination of a hard-coded signing key in favor of a file-based key, with config and deployment updates to reference signing_key_file and mount the key into containers. The change was tracked under ENG-2184 with a key commit updating docs to use signing_key_file.
