Worked on improving logging reliability and verbosity management within the Symfony ecosystem, focusing on the symfony/http-kernel, symfony/console, and symfony/symfony repositories. Addressed issues where SHELL_VERBOSITY environment variables and verbosity settings could leak between console commands, leading to inconsistent log output. Refactored PHP backend logic to restore verbosity state after each command and standardized log level calculations, simplifying the Logger constructor for more predictable behavior. Enhanced maintainability by ensuring logging configuration responds correctly to environment variables, reducing flaky behavior in continuous integration environments.
