During November 2024, T. Ngo focused on resolving a critical bug in the shopware/shopware repository, addressing an issue in the pricing engine related to currency inheritance. By leveraging JavaScript and front end development skills with Vue.js, T. Ngo implemented a fix that ensures restoring currency inheritance no longer removes prices from a rule’s price list, thereby maintaining advanced pricing integrity. The solution involved careful analysis of edge cases and regression validation to prevent pricing breakage. Although no new features were added, the work demonstrated a deep understanding of complex pricing logic and contributed a stable, business-critical fix to the codebase.
