Developed a new testing capability for the HathorNetwork/hathor-core repository by implementing the --test-mode-block-weight command-line flag. This feature allows developers to run tests with a reduced block weight, streamlining development and validation processes by enabling faster and more flexible testing scenarios. The work focused on CLI development and leveraged Python to integrate the new flag seamlessly into the existing codebase. Emphasis was placed on improving the reliability of continuous integration workflows and supporting robust testing practices.
