
Developed and delivered the Bitbucket Inactive Branch Tracking feature for the ICTU/quality-time repository, enabling automated measurement of inactive branches within Bitbucket repositories. This work involved designing new collector and base classes to integrate Bitbucket data sources, as well as implementing comprehensive test scaffolding to ensure accurate metric collection. Using Python for backend development and API integration, the implementation established a foundation for improved repository hygiene by making branch activity metrics accessible and actionable. The approach emphasized maintainable code structure and thorough testing, supporting data-driven decision making for repository management while expanding the platform’s capabilities to include Bitbucket-specific analytics.
