Delivered a key localization enhancement for the th-ch/youtube-music repository by integrating Khmer (Central) translation support using Weblate. Focused on improving accessibility and expanding the app’s international reach, the work involved creating and adding a JSON-based translation file to enable in-app localization for Khmer-speaking users. Demonstrated proficiency in i18n workflows and localization best practices, ensuring the project is better prepared for future language additions. Maintained clean commit discipline throughout the process, with no major bugs addressed during the period. The contribution broadened the user base and improved the user experience for a previously underserved language community within the application.
