Worked on foundational enhancements to agent management and project configurability within the hashicorp/go-tfe and opentofu/terraform-provider-tfe repositories. Delivered features enabling default agent pools and execution modes for projects, extending core data structures and update flows to streamline onboarding and reduce configuration errors. Enhanced agent pool configuration by supporting allowed projects and excluded workspaces, providing finer access control. Upgraded the go-tfe dependency to improve stability and address existing issues. All changes were paired with robust integration tests and thorough documentation updates. Utilized Go, Terraform, and version control best practices to ensure maintainable, secure, and well-documented backend development throughout the process.
