Worked on the signal18/replication-manager repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the arbitrator module. Refactored backend database connection handling to enable connection reuse, which reduces unnecessary connection churn and improves the module’s scalability under load. This technical approach also strengthened error handling, making the replication management workflow more robust and stable. The work was implemented using Go, with an emphasis on backend development and database management best practices. Over the course of the month, contributed a targeted feature that addressed core infrastructure concerns, resulting in a more maintainable and efficient backend system for replication management tasks.
