Developed a new INI-based configuration parser for the arana-db/kiwi repository, focusing on backend development and configuration management using Rust. The solution loads key application settings such as port, memory, and timeout from an INI file, incorporating validation to ensure safer and more predictable deployments. By introducing config-driven startup, the configuration is now consistently applied across system components at launch, laying groundwork for future runtime configurability. The work also included updating core dependencies to their latest compatible versions, enhancing security and performance. These changes improved deployment reliability and reduced the risk of misconfiguration, supporting more robust system design practices.
