Worked on the google/flatbuffers repository to modernize its build system by upgrading key dependencies, specifically rules_swift to version 3.1.2 and grpc to 1.76.0. Focused on build system configuration and dependency management using Bazel, the changes improved compatibility with the latest Swift tooling and gRPC-based workflows. This update reduced technical debt and aligned the project with current release lines, making future upgrades more straightforward and lowering maintenance risk. All modifications were tracked with conventional commit messages to ensure traceability and auditability. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and infrastructure modernization.
