Worked on enhancing the reference image recall functionality within the invoke-ai/InvokeAI repository, focusing on improving the Reference Image Panel’s usability and reliability. Developed features to preserve panel state and selection during image recall, ensuring a seamless user experience. Introduced fingerprint-based matching to accurately identify reference images and maintain context throughout recall operations, addressing edge cases such as open panels with null selections. Applied Redux for state management and TypeScript for robust front end development, while also improving code quality through formatting and collaborative practices. The work emphasized maintainability and context preservation in complex image recall workflows without introducing new bugs.
