During the month, contributed to the apache/incubator-seata repository by enhancing the Seata Common Module’s test coverage using Java and unit testing techniques. Focused on building targeted unit tests for ExceptionUtil and UUIDGenerator, the work aimed to validate edge cases and improve the correctness of serialization flows. Expanded the test suite to cover Instance and NamingServerNode serialization, helping to catch potential regressions early and reinforce code reliability. These efforts supported safer releases and smoother maintenance by reducing the risk of post-release issues. The approach emphasized thorough validation and maintainability, ensuring the module’s robustness for ongoing development and future refactoring.
