Worked on enhancing the reliability of compatibility and end-to-end tests for the metabase/shoppy repository, focusing on stability improvements rather than feature development. Addressed a key bug by aligning test assertions with the current application state to accommodate recent changes in the main app, and reintroduced explicit timeouts to ensure tests wait for essential UI elements before proceeding. This approach reduced test flakiness and lowered the rate of continuous integration failures, resulting in faster and more dependable feedback during compatibility verification. Utilized Cypress and JavaScript to implement these updates, contributing to safer deployments and more efficient iteration cycles for the project.
