Worked on the cpegeric/matrixone repository, delivering features and fixes that enhanced SQL compatibility and backend reliability. Developed a MySQL-compatible JSON_LENGTH built-in function with robust argument validation and a dedicated operator, ensuring accurate handling of JSON objects, arrays, and scalars. Improved error handling for SQL LIMIT and OFFSET clauses, supporting LIMIT 0 and providing clearer messaging for NULL and negative values. Addressed flaky tests by refining shutdown cleanup logic in change streams and restored MySQL wire protocol compatibility for binary data functions. Leveraged Go, SQL, and comprehensive testing to strengthen database management, client interoperability, and overall system stability within one month.
