Addressed two critical bugs by correcting the initialization logic for the MIC algorithm and updating unit tests to reflect accurate geometric outputs. Utilized C++ for both algorithmic fixes and test-driven development, ensuring that distance calculations and test expectations aligned with intended mathematical behavior. This work enhanced the robustness of geometric algorithms and reduced the risk of regressions, supporting higher confidence in production deployments and maintaining code quality through careful code maintenance and cross-functional collaboration.
