Worked on DNS and domain management improvements for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on enhancing domain routing and ownership tracking for a Netlify-hosted application. Introduced a JSON-based configuration file, unkn1wn.json, to manage domain ownership and DNS records, specifically implementing and refining CNAME records to standardize resolution. Addressed a DNS bug by removing A records and enforcing CNAME-based routing, which stabilized deployment and improved test reliability. Leveraged skills in DNS management, configuration management, and data structuring, using JSON as the primary language for configuration. The work resulted in a more maintainable, streamlined DNS setup and improved deployment stability.
