Worked on the projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates repository to deliver a YAML-based security advisory for CVE-2024-48259, addressing an SQL injection vulnerability in Cloudlog 2.6.15. The approach involved converting an existing Cloudlog SQLi template to align with the new CVE, ensuring that the vulnerability documentation met current CVE standards. This update improved the clarity and discoverability of security advisories for downstream users and security teams. The work focused on YAML configuration, security testing, and vulnerability assessment, with attention to maintaining documentation consistency and removing outdated templates to streamline the repository’s coverage of known vulnerabilities and enhance asset searchability.
